Counseling Fees

15 Minute Consultation: Free 

60 Minute Individual Counseling Session: $120.00

Payments are due the day of session. Payment is accepted via cash, cheque or e-transfer. E-transfer can be sent to jenntuck3@gmail.com. Invoices and receipts can be provided as a hard copy or sent through email. 

Insurance

I am currently registered as an Approved Care Provider with Provider Connect (this site includes Green shield, Empire life, Medic Construction and SSQ). I am also a Registered Care Provider with Medavie Blue Cross. Nurse Psychotherapy Counseling is also covered under most OTIP plans as well as Manulife. Please check with your health insurance provider to understand your coverage prior to session. You also may be able to access funding through an EAP program, be sure to check with your employer.

Confidentiality 

“Nurses have ethical and legal responsibilities to maintain the confidentiality and privacy of client health information obtained while providing care.” – CNO Practice Standard; Privacy and Confidentiality. Your privacy is important to me. I abide by all the regulations and practice standards set forth by my College as well as the code of ethics for counselors. At the beginning of session, we will go over confidentiality and informed consent. Cancellation Policy 

Cancellations or missed appointments without 24 hours’ notice will be subject to the full session fee. 

Documentation 

Documentation will be kept per the College of Nursing standards. Documentation will be a brief summary of your goals and progress. All professional records are confidential and secure. Per the CNO Practice Standard of Documentation: “Documentation demonstrates the nurse’s commitment to providing safe, effective and ethical care by showing accountability for professional practice and the care the client receives.” And; “[Documentation] demonstrates that the nurse has applied within the therapeutic nurse-client relationship the nursing knowledge, skill and judgment required by professional standards regulations.”
